Essential Function Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, exposure and credentials within a relatively young, dynamic
company where you will have a chance to interact at all levels and functions within Japan. Reporting directly
to Head of Business Planning & Solutions, you will work based in Tokyo, supporting the execution of the full
deal cycle within Japan for operating and under development renewable energy power plants.
Specific accountabilities include:
• Build and maintain financial models for renewable energy power plants using as a basis the
template to be provided by the Company for both existing portfolio as well as new opportunities
pursued by the Company
• Prepare financial models and analysis of renewable energy power plant projects that are both
operating and under development in alignment with internal stakeholders; and follow up on the
deals post-closing. Such task shall be for both new opportunities as well as projects already in the
company’s portfolio.
• Support or drive, as the case may be, on any information gathering, analysis as well as
assumption updates required to conduct an accurate evaluation
• Provide necessary support to maintain the Japan NAV model portfolio and reconcile any outputs
with the results in other financial models or metrics provided by the Company
• Work with the Head of Business Planning and Solutions Department of the Company, liaising as
required with the Financial Analysis team from Sonnedix Group to prepare quarterly updates
• Support in the preparation of the internal approval requests as well as any reporting materials to
top management
• Develop knowledge of the renewable energy power market and its dynamics, including the energy
markets, distribution and transmission system, and network operator
• Learn about the technical aspects of renewable energy power to communicate and influence
developers, finance, internal stakeholders, and external advisors
• Stay current with changing policies, regulations, and market trends
• Train and/or develop modelling capabilities of junior personnel within Japan (as required)
