Essential Function Description The Asset Management Associate will work together with members of the Asset Management Team, as well as with team members across the company, to coordinate and manage a wide range of asset management and engineering activities for our renewable energy assets in Japan. Key Competencies • Engineering or related technical education or industry background • Effective and efficient coordination and task management skills • Strong analytical, critical and structured thinking skills • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to communicate thoughts clearly and succinctly both in verbal and written form • Knowledge or exposure to monitoring and asset management software platforms a plus Key Accountabilities • Monitor, report, and follow-up on renewable energy plant performance • Coordinate as well as conduct and report on site visits to operational plants • Coordinate the organization and archiving of documents • Support the creation and update of risk registers and follow-up on risk reduction measures • Submit accurate and on-time reporting as required by authorities and other stakeholders • Maintain current information in the asset management platform and support new functionalities • Secure and maintain all necessary operational insurances and follow-up on insurance claims • Enforce warranties with contractors and suppliers • Validate and report production values and revenue amounts paid out by utilities Position Type and Work Environment: • Full-time employee • Location will be our Tokyo office with periodic travel to domestic project sites • The candidate must be able to travel, drive a car, and walk around and within project sites Education and Experience: • Education in a technical field or similar but other fields will also be considered • Japanese fluency as well as business level English language ability • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, experience with monitoring or machine learning platforms a plus Additional Eligibility Requirements: • NA Work Authorization/Security Clearance: • Right to work in Japan AAP/EEO Statement The Company provides equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment, free from artificial considerations based on any status or condition protected by law in the relevant jurisdiction, such as race, sex, gender origin, marital status, family situation or pregnancy, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, political opinion or disability.
